🇳🇬Player of the match award presented to Lucky Piety and Favour Eseigbe at the Nigeria U19 W vs Ghana U19 W cricket game

In a thrilling encounter between the Nigeria Under-19 Women’s cricket team and their Ghanaian counterparts, Lucky Piety and Favour Eseigbe emerged as the standout performer, earning the prestigious Player of the Match award respectively.

The match took place on September 8th 2024 at UNILAG Cricket Oval Pitch showcasing not only the talent of young cricketers but also the growing competitiveness of women’s cricket in West Africa.

On Match 1, Favour made 21 Runs 4 Wickets at the UNILAG Cricket Pitch, on  08-Sep-24   and National Selected won by 67 runs

While on Match 2 Nigeria U19 W won over Ghana U19 W by 178 runs with best performance going to  Christabel Chukwuonye, Adekunle Shola, and Lucky Piety who won player of the match made 97 runs.

The match was marked by intense competition, with both teams displaying remarkable skills and determination and Lucky's all-round capabilities were on full display as she also contributed with the ball, taking key wickets that turned the tide in favor of Nigeria. Her exceptional fielding further solidified her impact on the game.
